Bela Krajina povitica

Bela Krajina povitica is a traditional dish made of filo pastry filled with salted cottage cheese, eggs or cream. It is a savoury dish often served as a side dish to meat dishes or as a stand-alone dish. It is recognisable by its typical shape, as the dough is wrapped in the shape of a snail’s house.
