Idrija Lace Festival
The Idrija Lace Festival pays tribute to the centuries-old tradition of lacemaking in Idrija which has also been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. See the products of the skilful hands of Idrija’s lacemakers who also compete in a lacemaking competition at the festival. Descend into the Idrija Mercury Mine, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and taste the famous Idrija Žlikrofi.
