Žiga Lakner in Jesenice, solo performance

“When you want to give up, you have to remember, why you started in the first place.” This is the motto of a young tenor and countertenor from Idrija, Žiga Lakner, who attracted the attention of Slovenian public with his performance in a talent show and caught the eye (or should we say ear) of the experts with his ability to sing high notes.
He continues his music education at the Master’s degree programme at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under the direction of prof. Barbara Jernejčič Fürst, has collaborated with many Slovenian conductors and orchestras, and last year also made his opera debut.
