Ana Čop in Ptuj: Lilamors, musical performance
The versatile and award-winning singer Ana Čop presents her latest project Lilamors, which will be released as an album soon and will be available for pre-sale at the concert. Lilamors is dedicated to bringing contrasts together and is inspired by lyrical poetry that touches on the theme of death, death as a part of our lives. In its music, lightly flavoured with jazz tradition and poetic lyricism, the musicians explore sound and genre boundaries using voice (Ana Čop), piano (Thilo Seevers) and subtle electronic sound art (Jaka Arh).
The voice, pure and clear, reveals stories from this and the world beyond, stories of peace and hardship, love, life and death, white rivers and purple snow… Treat yourself to an innovative musical experience of jazz’s journey into new territories of ambient electroacoustic music and surrealism-like collages of stylistic and thematic contrasts.
