Visit the studio of an important Slovenian inventor and experience photography as it would have been done in the second half of the 19th century. Look through a real camera obscura, the forerunner of the camera, and experience the glass photography process invented more than 170 years ago. Become a lady or a gentleman from that time and let your own portrait on glass remind you of your visit to the museum and studio.
When you visit the museum studio, you will get to know the life and work of Janez Puhar, a versatile researcher and innovator who, with his invention of glass printing entered the world as one of the pioneers of the development of photography.

The experience includes:

• Tour of a photography studio with a real camera obscura
• Dressing up as a lady or gentleman from the 19th century
• Presentation of the process of photography on glass
• Photographing with the final portrait of the visitor on the glass, which you take with you as a souvenir
