Ptuj, which is considered the oldest town in Slovenia, has always been a town of vineyards, wine and winegrowers. Mestni Vrh is one of the wine-growing centers of Slovenske gorice, which first impresses with panoramic views, then surprises with the preservation of tradition presented in the Stara preša museum, and finally delights with a taste of local wines and delicacies.
During your visit the very special story of Mestni Vrh is extracted by hospitable winemakers from the wine press, which is more than 110 years old. Along with the sighting of the old press, you will be presented with its operation and the importance of Ptuj winemaking over time.
