Johann Sebastian Bach: Sonatas for Violin and Obbligato Harpsichord (first part)

Johann Sebastian Bach paid great attention to duets for violin and keyboard instrument and the result of this creativity are the six sonatas for violin and obbligato harpsichord, which introduce the trio sonata form and are considered one of the earliest examples of the use of the harpsichord as a solo instrument. They will be performed by excellent musicians, the Spanish violinist Adriana Alcaida and the Slovenian harpsichordist Ana Marija Krajnc. The concert in the Celje Cathedral Church of St. Daniel is part of the renowned festival of early music Seviqc Brežice.
