Crystal Season Subscription: Vita Mavrič and Jani Kovačič

The creative paths of Vita Mavrič and Jani Kovačič have now been crossing for almost a quarter of a century. Together, they have recreated the poems of Bertold Brecht and Vitomil Zupan, they have revived the works of neglected Slovenian female poets with their musical performance Unforgettable, and Vita has included Jani’s poems in her projects. This year’s Kontra-Alba project also intertwines the musical interpretation of Kovačič’s poems by Vita and a subtly placed poetry reading by Jani. Thus, the author of the texts will be actively involved in the stage dynamics, which will further accentuate the concert programme.
