Betel dumplings

Betel dumplings are homemade buckwheat dumplings made from leavened dough. They are filled with cottage cheese, porridge, chives and eggs and topped with cracklings or butter. They are one of the typical dishes you can try at the Betel Tourist Homestead in Planina near the famous Golica mountain. The mountain is most popular in May, when its slopes are covered with daffodils.
