Carniolan sausage (Kranjska klobasa)

Carniolan sausage is a Slovenian national dish, protected by a geographical indication, made from the finest pork meat and seasoned with garlic. It is traditionally served with sauerkraut or turnip, horseradish and bread, and is often accompanied by a glass of beer. You can try it in Kranj.
