Ocvirkovka

Ocvirkovka is a well-known dish, a type of potica with a filling made from cracklings, which is traditionally prepared for the holiday season in many parts of Slovenia. The members of the Slovenske Konjice Farmers’ Association came up with a slightly different idea, preparing their ocvirkovka as a savoury leavened cake, with cracklings and cheese mixed in. Enjoy it with some local wine, for example Konjičan.
